The 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Gyan Yog Breath is a 10-day intensive course during which the participant will gain a comprehensive knowledge of yoga. The yoga beginner to intermediate is invited to become an expert in asana, pranayama, yoga physiology and philosophy, transformational meditation techniques & Emotional Blockage®Treatment.

100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course Outlines & Aims

HATHA ASANA

  • Cover at least 45 hatha asanas with English and Sanskrit name
  • Learn and experience the benefits of each posture
  • Become familiar with sun salutations, twisting, sitting, standing and inverted postures
  • Understand about postures through hands-on adjustments and the Use of Props

PRANAYAMA

  • Learn and practise various pranayama techniques to calm your mind
  • Learn to use pranayama to cure mental disease
  • Detoxify your body through breath control
  • Experience the flow of vital life force prana

MEDITATION

  • Reflect yourself, thoughts and learning progress
  • Become familiar with at least 7 different meditation techniques
  • Learn to accept yourself as you are and be present
  • Remove negativity, doubts and confusion

SHATKARMA

  • Remove mucous blocks from your nasal cavities
  • Experience a feeling of lightness through two important shatkarma techniques
  • Gain an understanding of the six actions (shat-karma) and their benefits
  • Open your nadis (energy channels)

YOGA PHILOSOPHY

  • Study the ancient scriptures and understand the history of yoga
  • Learn the concepts behind Patanjali Yog Sutras and Bhagavad Gita
  • Apply the yogic philosophy into your life
  • Learn the ancient yogis philosophy in relation to thought patterns, relationships and healing

YOGA ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

  • Cover the body sytems such as muscular, skeletal and digestive system
  • Relate the anatomy to your yoga practice
  • Learn about perfect health according to yoga
  • Understand about the correct alignments of postures according to anatomy

EMOTIONAL BLOCKAGE® TREATMENT

Food & Dining

Two vegetarian home-made meals per day

During your 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive two freshly prepared meals per day and a fruit meal as an afternoon snack.

For Brunch, we serve seasonal fruits, sweet or salty porridge, Oats, Soy milk, Indian Breakfast, veggies, sides and teas.

Dinner consist of changing cooked vegetables, rice, chapati, pulses (dhal), soups and salads. Sometimes we serve also sweets as desert and Western dishes for more variety.
