More Details

Our training is at the core Ashtanga based Vinyasa. We use traditional forms such as Ashtanga and Iyengar to inform our creative Vinyasa development and to mine our personal strengths.

Morning practices alternate between ashtanga and vinyasa, afternoon clinics are alignment-based, and our evening practices look at the softer forms including slow-flow, myofascial release, yin, restorative, Nidra, and meditation.

Our anatomy program is a complete curriculum of hands-on interactive activities and our philosophy traces the development of yoga from its Vedic roots to it contemporary expressions.

We are yoga teachers as opposed to spiritual teachers but the material, especially in our philosophy, pranayama, and meditation curriculum invites introspection, spiritual self-growth, and transformation.

In this training, you will develop the skills to teach yoga to others. You will study the form and function of asana (yoga poses), the foundations of pranayama (breath work), and the basics of meditation.

Plus, yoga theory and practice, yoga history and philosophy, basic Sanskrit, and yoga teacher ethics and boundaries.

You will have class Monday-Saturday. Below is a sample of your class schedule.

Our yoga teacher training places a strong focus on developing the actual skill set of teaching.

Our mission is to produce high-quality, professional yoga teachers who can communicate ideas and instructions clearly and effectively.

You will be trained on verbal instruction, demonstration, and adjustment skills, and have plenty of time to practice and refine these skills.

Our students graduate with confidence that they can competently teach yoga to others. Your own practice will also deepen as your understanding grows.
