This 28-day multi-style 200hrs yoga teacher training in Rishikesh is conducted by Maharishi Yoga Peeth. The yoga teachers here have more than a decade of teaching experience, some of whom have also won awards in the field of Yoga. The centre is Yoga Alliance USA, UK and Yoga Alliance International certified.

The200hrs yoga teacher training course consists mainly of Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga and is designed to be intensive where the day starts early and yoga training and practice last long. This course is ideal for those that have been practising yoga for a while and would like to make yoga teaching their career. After the course is finished students can apply for a Yoga Alliance 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training Certification. Every student gets a slightly different postural training based on their balance of Vatha, Pitha and Kapha.

By Air
To reach Maharishi Yoga Peeth, Jolly Grant airport which is approximately 35 kilometers away from Dehradun is the nearest airport to Rishikesh. Also Air India, Spice Jet, and Jet Airways often have daily flights from New Delhi. Apart from Delhi, there is a flight from Lucknow to Dehradun as well. Once you reach the airport, you can opt for a regular taxi or bus service which is easily available from Dehradun to Rishikesh.


By Bus
As Rishikesh is a popular tourist destination it has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Maharishi Yoga Peeth Rishikesh every day. You can choose by your own choice from a regular, deluxe or luxurious coach.


By Train
The nearest railhead is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometers away to Rishikesh. Haridwar is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Varanasi.
